Best of The Great Escape 2017
So many excellent artists at The Great Escape this year, here are five of the best (but there were many others...)

@goatgirloffical

Good Foxy
Five guys from Lancashire who are barely in their twenties but play like a seasoned
rock band from the late sixties.
Refreshingly strong riffs and progressive arrangements played with a style beyond their years ..oh and they're already working on their second album.
MiC Lowry
You can't beat raw talent and these five guys from Liverpool are overflowing with it. We filmed them on the streets of Fulham Broadway before a sell-out set at Under The Bridge as part of Music Connex and ILuvLive. They're well on the path to huge success as they start two months supporting Justin Bieber this autumn.
Plan B
We worked with Plan B to document a songwriting masterclass which he gave to three students from Protege, the organisation which works with young people not in full time education.
He developed and coached their skills in the studio to create a fully mastered recording.
Viola Beach
Viola Beach were four down to earth lads from Warrington, a great band with great songs and they gave us what sadly seems to be their only filmed interview before their career tragically ended in a car accident on tour in Sweden.
The interview will be uploaded later but we made this video for Communion Music to promote their single. All proceeds go to the families, please buy from the link above and promote it using

X&Y
Not funk, not pop but that exciting area in between. Two strong but contrasting vocalists with a solid backing and powerful choruses, X&Y don't fit a category they are making one for themselves.

Blush
End of the Trail approached us to make the promo for their recent signing Blush. When we listened to lead singer Ben Rotherham's voice on this track Crying Glitter, we thought it had terrific character with a lyric that was intriguing and enticing. It's a great track that gets better every time you play it.
Otherkin
A powerful Dublin four piece with touches of The Strokes mixed with the original late 70's New Wave of The Jam and The Vapours.
Signed to Rubyworks (Hozier, Sinead O'Connor) and with a packed festival season ahead, they are well on the road to achieving their big ambitions.

“Exploding onto the grunge scene in a blaze of riffs, Wardance are undeniably the hottest thing at the moment. Playing a heavy mix of glam, grunge and Britpop… the band’s sensational debut track 'Free Radicals' is being universally acclaimed for its riffs, rhythm, and mind-blowing vocals.” Disorder
